Excellent market. Kind to tourists and not pushy.

Yeah you HAVE to see this place. Wow, everything. plan a couple hours to see it all. Clothes, jewelry, hats, souvenirs, prepared food, flowers, live and gigantic sea food in swimming tubs, (look at those monster blue prawns) and even stacks of counterfeit cash from any country. Even grandma dressed like she's fifteen. Fun!

So many sights and smells! We had a great time exploring the market and as tourists we were told that we are honoured guests. We saw some security guards and one took a quick photo of me/us as I came off the tour bus. Maybe he had to prove he went to work today 😅\nI was surprised when I was greeted in English by a woman sewing at her fabric booth. She asked where I was from and when I said Canada she asked if I spoke French or English because she speaks a little of both.
